Liquid Motion® Accreditation Framework
The professional framework for Liquid Motion® Accreditation
THE LIQUID MOTION® ACCREDITATION FRAMEWORK
Liquid Motion® Accreditation operates across four distinct levels — from professional practitioner recognition through to institutional programme delivery.
Each level carries specific standards, requirements, and responsibilities.
Progression is merit-based, selective, and maintained through continuing professional development.
CERTIFICATION & ACCREDITATION
Certification recognises successful completion of professional training — skills acquired, methodology learned, competency demonstrated. Certification is the foundation.
Accreditation is professional recognition of a different order. It is granted selectively, maintained through continued alignment with Liquid Motion® standards, and is not automatically conferred through course completion.
Completion of certification does not automatically confer professional accreditation.
THE FOUR LEVELS
LEVEL 1

Recognition of demonstrated professional competency under real-world underwater conditions.

CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

This includes:
- Ongoing real-world practice
- Environmental responsibility
- Engagement with evolving standards
- Contribution to the professional community
STANDARDS & ETHICS
All Liquid Motion® Accreditation is grounded in:
- Technical and creative mastery under real-world conditions
- Environmental responsibility and reef-safe practice
- Professional integrity and ethical conduct
- Commitment to the advancement of underwater imaging as a craft
These are not aspirational values. They are operational requirements.
